Festive Indian block printing - A workshop with the Art of Jaipur

In this vibrant arts hub, you will learn the art of block printing and be able to print your own beautiful designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks. Print either a table runner or a set of napkins or any three other items of your choice (tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, aprons, Christmas stockings, Santa sacks) which you can take home on the day.

You will first have a demonstration and then you will practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!

Refreshments are available from the excellent on site café but you are welcome to bring any drinks or snacks of your own along.

There will be a few printing blocks and blank textiles available to buy at the end for anyone who is interested in pursuing this craft at home.
