Tuesday 23rd to Sunday 28th June, the Setting gallery

Now and Then - Janet Grist and Sylvia Hammond

A textile art exhibition featuring new work by Janet Grist and Sylvia Hammond, as well as another chance to see some old favourites.

Janet has a love of traditional patchwork and appliqué combined with embroidery.

These techniques are demonstrated in quilted jackets, bed quilts and decorative stitched boxes.

Sylvia also known as SlowStitchSylvia will be showing her daily stitch journals, these scrolls wound on old mill bobbins now represent a decade of stitching for 15 minutes each day.    Also on show will be Sylvia’s love of indigo, both stitched pieces and fabric, together with an eclectic mix of art and other associated goodies.
